Gabby Petito's Exact Cause of Death Has Just Been Revealed

A little over a month since Gabby Petito was reported missing, authorities in Wyoming discussed the final autopsy report to give clarity on exactly how she died.

It was initially ruled that Petito died of homicide, and Dr. Brent Blue of the Teton County coroner's office found that her death was caused by strangulation. No more details are being shared to the public.

A coroner previously revealed that Petito died of a homicide on September 21st, but a specific cause of death was pending the final autopsy report.

Petito was reported missing on September 11 after her fiance Brian Laundrie returned home to Florida without her. Laundrie and his parents refused to speak to investigators, and Brian was named a person of interest in the case. The case then took a turn when Brian Laundrie was also reported missing in mid-September.

Although Laundrie has not been charged in the death of Petito, he has a federal warrant for his arrest following the "unauthorized" use of a debit card in the days after it was determined that Petito had died.
