Did you know that at least one man is diagnosed with testicular cancer (TC) every hour each year in the U.S.? TC is highly treatable — in fact, 99 percent curable — when found and treated at its earliest stages. Sean Kimerling was an Emmy Award winning, PIX11 Sports Reporter and was just 37 when he died from TC because the symptoms were not known to him.

The Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation believes that no man needs to die from TC. Boys and men ages 15-40 are most at risk for TC. So, let’s do something about it! Let’s Run With The Balls! Come have fun, run and spread the word about TC.

With that in mind, we encourage people in the D.C. area to "be ballsy" and check out the 1st Annual D.C. Running of the Balls 5K and 10K, produced by the DC Running Club, in the Georgetown section of DC on the C&O Towpath. Please join the race and have fun for a good cause on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Course: Is an out and back on the Capital Crescent Towpath. Bib Pickup - Will begin at 8:00 am at 3700 Water Street. Parking - There is plenty of metered parking on Water St. as well as garage parking. Bag Check - There will be a free bag check at the starting line.
