Report: Tiger Woods Enters Rehab for Pill Addiction

Troubled golf star Tiger Woods has reportedly entered rehab for a pill addiction, according to GolfWeek.

Woods was arrested on Memorial Day for a DUI where he admitted to authorities that was under the influence of Xanax and Vicodin.

The report says he will be at Jupiter Medical Center, not far from his arrest and where he resides in Florida. Some speculate that he is entering rehab solely to maintain joint custody of his two children as a deal with the court system. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 5th.

In April, Woods had lower right back fusion surgery, the fourth surgery performed on his back in the past four years.

Woods has played golf sporadically in the past three years due to a variety of back injuries. He last won a PGA Tour event in 2013, and has not won a major championship since 2008.
